The House Oversight Committee has published a batch of approximately 70 photos obtained from the property of deceased adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of disclosure from a cache of more than 95,000 photographs the body has obtained from Epstein's property. It features photographs of excerpts from the book Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured pictures of female international passports.

This action comes just hours before the 19 December cut-off for the Department of Justice to disclose all files associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These latest images bring up additional inquiries about precisely what the DOJ has in its holdings," said the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Some of the photographs released on Thursday feature Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates positioned alongside a woman whose identity is redacted; Steve Bannon seated at a desk across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the most recent wealthy, influential men to be pictured in Epstein property photographs released by the House Oversight Committee - formerly disclosed images also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photos is is not considered evidence of any wrongdoing, and many of the pictured men have asserted they were not participating in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release issued alongside the photograph release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate did not offer explanatory details or timings for the pictures.

"Images were selected to furnish the general populace with clarity into a representative sample of the photographs obtained from the property, and to offer perspectives into Epstein's associates and his extremely disturbing actions," the announcement reads.

The disclosure also includes a number of photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in black ink across various areas of a woman's body, like her chest, lower extremity, hip, and back. Lolita tells the tale of a minor who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

One excerpt from the work inscribed across a female's chest reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photos of female travel documents and ID papers from states globally, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the papers, such as identities and birth dates, is censored but the committee indicated in a statement that the passports belong to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

An additional photo depicts Epstein seated at a desk closely in the company of three individuals whose faces have been obscured - a first has her palm on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another is leaning to look at a adjacent device. Epstein can be seen to be helping the final person attach a bracelet.

Another photograph released is a image of digital messages from an unnamed person who states they have been provided "a number of girls" and are asking for "$$1,000 per female".

Photograph Release Comes Before DOJ Deadline

The committee has thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein property, which are "both explicit and ordinary," its press release on this week explained.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein property gave to the committee are distinct from what is largely termed "the Epstein files". That material are documents under the Department of Justice's control related to its own probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which President Trump made law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its files. The full nature of the contents contained in the DOJ's files is not publicly known, and it's expected that a large amount of the content will be significantly obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee documents
