Soccer Expert Chris Sutton Takes On Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts

The Gunners' ten-match victorious streak was ended by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, however will the English top division frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?

"{I feel like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.

"Frank will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still manage to win."

Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of guests.

In the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.

Murs' latest record, Knees Up, is out on Friday.

Soccer and Family Experiences

Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of several charity football games over time - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a player.

"{I recently played in a benefit game the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!

"I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again.

"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or son chooses to play instead."

The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, their daughter and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.

"I will not force football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their Saturday football side," he said.

"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a while too.

"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is probably where I get it from. He coached our team for several years and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Premier League Predictions

Saturday, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their attack is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.

I still think this fixture will be quite tight, though. The Clarets are well organised and their only home defeats so far have been against the Reds and the Gunners.

This smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to go with Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.

The expert's forecast: 1-2

Olly's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3

AI's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Cherries have lost their previous couple games - albeit both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.

In contrast, West Ham won back-to-back victories before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they do look strong again.

The Hammers' sole on the road victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when their boss Nuno was previously Forest coach.

So, what on earth do I predict here - can West Ham extending their run under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?

I am going to choose the Cherries, because I believe what happened against Villa was a blip.

Sutton's prediction: 2-0

The guest's outlook: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2

AI's prediction: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign started, but they have surprised a few people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three wins in their past four games.

My son told me to get Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.

Thiago will likely score again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support the away side at Brighton's ground.

The Bees have not had great fortune on the travel this term, and Brighton are always decent at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's team pose much more of a danger.

Sutton's forecast: 2-1

Olly's view: This could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1

AI's outcome: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

This is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their past six matches.

Fulham have got plenty of talent in their squad but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.

Regarding Sunderland, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.

Their display in the 2-2 tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not witnessed any other team disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.

The sensible thing to do to back the visitors here, because they are obviously able of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of October.

However I am not going to do that. Instead, I really need to carry on going against Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good results because they clearly enjoy to prove me wrong.

Considering the home side's home record, the sole team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be absolutely eager for a good result, so I am going to predict they will pick up three points.

Sutton's forecast: 1-0

Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are doing well and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a tough one to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but could they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
