Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in an LA Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a highway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
